Hi There.

Welcome to my blog documenting my temporary stay in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Please keep in mind that the target audience for this blog is my family and close friends. So, if you're wondering why I post pictures of food I have eaten or silly videos of me singing while driving, that's why.

Wednesday Morning Jog

Antonio and I went jogging this morning. I was a complete wimp (my shins are bothering me).

But, it was a great start to the day. Beautiful weather!

We (and when I say we, I really mean Antonio) also took advantage of some of the ‘workout stations’ along the lakeshore – rowing machine, sit-up station, monkey bars.

  1. Uh oh, the shin problems have begun, so sorry. It's why I had to stop jogging. :/ Try wrapping now.

It's so annoying. I feel fine walking and then when I start to jog - zwang! Pain. :(

Thanks for your support though. :)

  3. This is an interesting suggestion about dealing with shin pain by running barefoot: http://lifehacker.com/comment/23355375/

I started running w/ thin soled shoes a few months ago and noticed that I had very little foot/shin pain, compared to running with standard running shoes. But, then I stopped. Looks like I might need to start again.

  4. Are not shin splints the culprit for your shin agony? Don't they make special socks for that? At least, in the olden days, that is what I learned.

We are sick but hope to get your little package to you before you move back home.

  5. When I described the pain to my mom, she said it didn't sound like shin splints. But, I'm not sure.

I hope you guys feel better soon!
