I love Morningstar Farms fake chicken products, including my newest find: buffalo wings. I plop them in the toaster (you can do up to 6 at a time utilizing both slots) and ba-ching! They are done!
They are so easy and a great meat alternative. The texture is very similar to meat and when you cook it in the toaster or oven, the crust gets nice and crispy.
Side note: I’m not a vegetarian. But, I happen to really enjoy these fake meat products and so I figure, why not?
Rant
This past week, I have received two packages in the mail that really irked me. Both demonstrated how wasteful packaging can be. One that I received today (shown below) contained an item about 6” x 4”, yet was in a box that could hold at least 15 times as much (that’s just a guess).
It just seems so unnecessary (unless you are shipping a very delicate item that needs a lot of cushioning. I do intend to use the bubble wrap and box again, so in that sense it will be ‘recycled’, but still… Think about the environment before you send a package, people!
