Mom.

I called my mom last night. It was good to just talk about ‘normal’ day-to-day things with someone who knows my sense of humor, my fears, my weaknesses and strengths in a way that even my closest friends can’t. My mom knows me better than pretty much anyone else. She can hear uncertainty in my voice. She knows when I’m acting calm about something that is freaking me out.

And she always knows just how to make me feel better.
