Tonight it was cold and drizzly… and cold (they say there might even be snow tomorrow).
I jogged along the lakeshore and downtown. By the time I was winding down, my sweatshirt was soaked with rain and I was freezing. I had to keep jogging just to stay warm! :)
But, it felt good to be outside, to push my muscles.
You must have real motivation to not only go jogging on a regular basis, but to do so in cold and rain. For one, I can't stand exercising, although I'm told I should and I will feel better. (I've tried and I never felt better.) And two, I don't like being cold and wet! So, more power to you!
ReplyDeleteMr. Custodian: Once I push myself and do it a few times, it gets easier. The first few times (and sometimes even weeks) are rather miserable. Having a kickin' playlist for the mp3 player helps. I do have some motivation: Everyone says that you're in your prime in your early 20's and I haven't felt that way yet! :)
