I went outside again today for lunch. The weather, despite being a tad windy, continues to be very pleasant.
I sat down under a tree and looked up when I heard some noise. I realized a bird was perched in the tree almost directly above me. I started to say “That’s probably not a good idea…” and then the bird dropped a surprise about 4 feet away from me and flew off.
That could have been much worse.

Above: That’s my rental car in the background. I would never buy that particular vehicle personally (visibility is not that great), but it gets me around.
