Hi There.

Welcome to my blog documenting my temporary stay in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Please keep in mind that the target audience for this blog is my family and close friends. So, if you're wondering why I post pictures of food I have eaten or silly videos of me singing while driving, that's why.

Finally – A ‘Real’ Dinner!

I’ve been here for over two weeks, but tonight was the first time that I actually felt like cooking ‘real’ food – something that didn’t have to be heated in a microwave or eaten out of a container.

After a quick call to my mom to get some help with how to cook the chicken, I made chicken tenders (coated in bread crumbs), linguine with spinach/cheese sauce and brussel sprouts.

This meal really hit the spot!

I also discovered that burned bread crumbs (w/ butter) are much easier to clean up than they appear at first glance. These wiped right off with a paper towel! (Below)

And I did my dishes right away, so now I can wake up tomorrow to a clean kitchen. Yay! (I put that sentence in there for my mother’s benefit. Yes Mom, you are right. Cleaning up right away is better.)
