Wandering Through Wisconsin

Instead of doing laundry tonight (as I had originally planned), I went shopping. I’ve been getting annoyed with the clothes I brought. Or maybe it’s just that with my limited selection of clothes (and the fact that I’ve been putting off going to the laundromat), I’m struggling to mix/match so that it doesn’t look like I’m wearing the same thing every other day.

Back to the story.

I was proud of myself for finding the store that I wanted to go to. When I was done wandering around, I decided to head home and fix dinner.

I was 90% sure of where I was.

I was also completely wrong.

I ended up going through Sheboygan Falls and Kohler, wandering around and waiting for my internal compass to kick in (turns out I don’t have one!). I finally checked my location with my GPS and got straightened out. Turned out I just had to get back on County Road PP. (No joke. It’s really named ‘County Road PP’. It cracks me up whenever I see the road signs.)

While I was lost, I watched a lightning storm in the distance. So far that storm hasn’t hit Sheboygan yet.

So, that was my evening: getting lost, getting un-lost and eating some dinner.
