Hi There.

Welcome to my blog documenting my temporary stay in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Please keep in mind that the target audience for this blog is my family and close friends. So, if you're wondering why I post pictures of food I have eaten or silly videos of me singing while driving, that's why.

Soul Sister

Every time this song comes on the radio, I turn it up.

I love the song anyway, but especially after my good friend Neva said that she thinks of me whenever she hears it. Now I think of her whenever I hear it.

So, Neva, this post is pretty much just for you. I’m thinking of you and missing you! Give your kids hugs for me. I can’t wait to be home and taking pictures of you and the belly (even though I know that’s a few months down the line). Say hi to Joseph too. :)

Love ya!

I need to work on those lyrics. I kind of mumbled my way through and ended up laughing at the end.

Side note: I am not a singer. I’m more of a hummer or a head bobber. But, I made an exception.

  1. Awwww, True Sisters! JB you sounded fine. I, on the other hand, sound like the cat that got it's tail caught under Grandma's rocker... or like me when your Mom's cats attacked the feather boa cuffs on my Cinderella socks and got their little claws stuck in my ankles.

Everyone please keep August 8th open. We are planning a Doo-Dad. Details later but I am sure you can guess the place.....

  2. Aunt Duddie: Thanks! :)

You must think my blog is getting lots of hits if you're making a 'doo-dad' announcement on it. I'll look forward to hearing more about it.

  3. Just dust off the ukelele.... and anyone who has a kid who took guitar lessons should make them practice practice practice....

  4. I love it! Love, love, love it!! We miss you and can't wait until you're home. You are so brave. I don't think I'd ever have the guts to post my car singing voice, even if it sounded that wonderful. :) Then again, you did sing and play the ukulele in front of the whole congregation...

  5. JB - yes, I do think your blog is getting a lot of hits. Doesn't everyone sit by the computer waiting for your updates? Huh? Hurry home.

I posted a youtube vid of my brother in laws peppers which I roasted last summer and I accidentally happened upon some moldy oldies of Princess Sweet Pea posted by you. I love those kids too.
